Let us say tomorrow, would you ban the production, advertisement and sale of rolling paper and tobacco, just because the act of assembling a hand-rolled cigarette resembles the act of rolling a marijuana joint? How silly does that sound?
Lets us discuss another illustration dealing with yet another imagery.
In countries where advertising liquor and cigarettes are banned, liquor and tobacco companies rely on massive surrogate advertising campaigns peddling products like bottled water, sports goods, which go by the same name as the liquor brand. Why do we see no protests against such advertisements, when the companies really want to do, is sell liquor.
Lets move away from adults for a bit and get younger. Remember when you were a boy, one of your prized possessions must have been any one of these three toys. Say a gun, a GI Joe or a war ship of some kind? Now is it ethical and correct to allow children to play with a gun as a toy? Shouldn’t it horrify parents that their child is playing around with an imitation gun today… What if tomorrow he develops an obsession for a real weapon?
You find this ridiculous don’t you?
The argument hinged on mere imagery posed by people and people’s groups campaigning against the new energy drink Blow, is as ridiculous as the one’s we have listed above.
One thing needs to be kept in mind here is that Blow is a drink for adults. And if adults are sane enough to vote for a head of state, they should surely be mature enough to make qualified distinctions between a good drink and bad drink.
The entire advertising campaigns designed by promoters of the brand intends to get this very same adult to the water. Whether the individual adult drinks it or not is a call he or she will have to make. No one can force the adult into making this final choice.
Whether you need a fake credit card to portion out the mix, or whether you really need a vial like container to store them, these are only the ridiculous frills which campaigners love harping about.
Because emotion and a lot of it, makes for a very eye-grabbing news story, while fact does not.

The controversy generated recently over the new launched high powered energy drink mix Blow has less to do with the product and unfortunately more to do the concept of imagery.
Blow energy drink comes with a thermacol lined pack, with a tag that says Blow Me. Open the container and in it find several packets, which contained carefully preserved vials containing the high power energy mix. Beneath, at the bottom of the case, you’d also find a fake credit card, with which you are meant to parcel out appropriate portions of the energy mix.
The bulk of the protests stem from the fact that the promoters of Blow have tried to brazenly glorify and subsequently encash on the notorious and socially abhorred imagery associated with the use of the addictive drug cocaine, which is also similar in colour and feel.
The protestors make a fine emotive point, but is there really enough for them to have a case.

One of the major variations between Red Bull and Blow energy drink, is the way you consume the drink. While the former doesn’t give you much of an option, being an open-the-can-and-gulp-it-down drink, Blow energy drink offers you the option of choosing your own drink to add the energy drink mix in.

Instead of appreciating the fact, the introduction of yet another widely noticed brand of energy drink, has in fact widened the spectrum of choice for an adult individual, such on-the-edge campaigners have been instead running the drink down.
One should also take into account, that with such an aggressive marketing blitz by their side, Blow may even be able to salvage a potential alcoholic, by bringing him into the energy drink fold.

One answer that needs instant redress is why campaigners have stopped protesting about alcohol? The side effects of alcohol are much more lethal and very, very obvious for anyone to miss. Or is it that anti-alcohol protest is old hat and no one cares two hoots about it any more?

Why would you want to run down an energy drink? Why is it that on the other hand alcoholic drinks like beer, whiskey, rum, vodka have no ‘run down’ campaigns springing up against them every now and then?
Here are some facts about the Blow energy drink, which have to be taken into account. Let’s view them in comparison to its rival legendary energy drink Red Bull.
Blow is three times as strong as the age-less Red Bull.
If one assesses the ingredients used in the manufacture of Blow energy drink, there’s nothing in there that should shock you out of your skin.

There’s Taruine, which has been forever used in Health drinks over the years. Taurine has been know for more than a century now for its unique ability to alleviate tiring muscles. The only variation from Red Bull on this count is be that Blow has twice the quantity of Taurine.

Inositol is the other ingredient, which Blow has in common with Red Bull.
And it would be amount to a feat, if someone would be able to give us more than one reason for banning caffeine.

Don’t be surprised if this scenario emerges over the next few months. Blow energy drink could change the ways.
One fine day you’d wake up to find that the publishers and editors of Sports Illustrated, that venerated Sports magazine, have been arrested for printing and commercially circulating vulgarity. Perhaps they wouldn’t even bat an eyelid while doing it.

Why? Because of sustained pressure on the establishment by consistent lobbying by professional campaigners against indecent exposure by bikini clad models on the Sports Illustrated’s annual calendar.

A cursory glance at the recent controversy, which followed the well-calibrated, high profile launch of Blow, a powdered energy drink mix, cannot but help make you feel that the people who are campaigning against the drink are high on the drink themselves.
Such is the verve and the energy that’s being put on by the campaigners, who seem hell bent on banning… a health drink!

These days there are many energy drinks in the market. Red Bull, Effect and many others are vying the youngsters with the promises of unending energy. Caffeine, taurine and other ingredients have made these energy drinks a quick fix which the young resort too, every time they feel low. The blow energy drink has made a different style statement to climb over the shock factor. It has managed to shock the parents and the youngsters. Reason? Simply because it comes in vials and a mirror and fake credit card like the bad stuff cocaine. There are many parents who have expressed their concern on such a packaging. However, there is another side to it. While you may think that this kind of a marketing gimmick may propel the young people towards the real stuff, there is another side of the story.  Many psychologists feel that if the young people are given a harmless replica of the harmful stuff like cocaine, their desire for the real thing will die down. It is only when something is not given to us, that we are challenged to get it by any means. Blow energy drink is the easier and the harmless replica of cocaine which satisfies the latent urge of generation Z to be ultra cool and modern without harming themselves.

Energy drinks have always played an important role n our lives. Tea, coffee, all these drinks have been there for ages! Now, its just that there are more synthetically manufactured and come in different shapes and sizes. What we need to realize is that the ingredients should be looked at and not the packing. If packing was the problem, then all the toy guns should be banned since they might teach our kids to fight! But, that’s not the case, is it? So, why are we creating so much ado about nothing. Hence, enjoy your blow energy drink and take a chill pill.

Logan Gola, the proprietor of blow energy drink says,” We definitely wouldn’t advocate that you mix it with anything that has caffeine in it. We’re at the upper limit,’

when you really look at it, its just a drink so why this uneasiness over the advertising?!?After all the imagery in nothing but gimmicks that admittedly aim at the young hard pressed crowd who need something to keep them going. In a way its better because it satisfies a teenage thirst to “experiment” with the banned and unknown without themselves any serious damage. The drink is for sale to people above 18years of age.So I would say that at the end of the day it is the stuff that matters not the packaging!Energy drinks are not only approve by FDA, they are legal for people of all ages groups. And seem to be a magic portion for today’s generation to deal with the excessively demanding lifestyles.

After hearing much about this hyped up drink with the over done “flirt with the banned and seductive” type advertising , I decided to try out this “power packed drink” for myself. To my amazement the drink actually did taste good! And honestly the packaging did add a twist to the whole experience. The fact that it isn’t a regular drink but needs to me “made”was an interesting approach.

This drink of 240mg caffeine and 2000mg of Taurine is far more potent than any other energy drink .You can mix it with any favorite drink and get a kick!It makes for a great party drink.Keeps you going after a hard day of work.So you can have an absolute blast even after slogging the entire day!Which makes it pretty cool I would say!The mix can not be consumed on its own or snorted it needs to be mixed with a drink. Those who ignored the warning on the bottle and decided to try out “unadulterated stuff” ended up with terrible burning noses and will vouch for it!
